Steps for Creating and Publishing (uploading) your Word Documents:

 

I. CREATING THE WORD DOUCMENT AND SAVING IT AS WEBPAGE:

Steps:

 

  1. Save your Word Document in your computer as:

 

    

  1. Save your word document as a web page in your computer so as to get architect.htm,

structural engineer.htm, construction manager.htm for your respective cases.

 

II. PUBLISH YOUR DOCUMENT WEBPAGE ON YOUR GROUP SPACE:

Steps:

 

3.   open a web browser and type ftp://oslo.stanford.edu and enter your User name

      (team name, eg. atlantic2006, pacific2006 etc) and password as aec.

4.   Goto the WWW-Home folder and copy your word document in .htm format in this folder.

 

CAUTION: the webpage that you copy in the WWW-Home folder will overwrite the existing

corresponding file in the folder.
